![]() TNA's Tara has returned to her online blogging ways with an update on her current status with TNA Wrestling, MMA training, and much more. Here's what the spider lady had to say: - Let me start off by saying that I learned a valuable lesson. I responded to a rumor, and what I learned was, the people whose opinion I truly value, my family, my friends, the folks who follow my wrestling career, and my MySpace friends, they know me well enough to know who I am. So I didn't need to respond. But I sure do appreciate all your support. On to a happier subject. Tonight on TNA Impact on SpikeTV, I will be tagging up with the Amazing Kong. I am so excited for us as a tag team. Me vs Kong is one of those dream matches. I think she could bring out the best fighter from the New and Improved Tara. And as big and mean as she looks on TV, she looks even bigger and meaner in person. It is an honor to work along side of her, and we will give the "Beautiful People" the treatment that they deserve. And yes, I do have an extra special trick up my sleeve. I'm going to make this short. I am between MMA training sessions. I will talk more about it once I decide either way, but a fight promoter came to my coach with an amazing fight opportunity. It is against a name those who follow women's MMA would know. It is a great opportunity, and would be two months away, and frankly, we are discussing whether I can be ready for a fighter at that level this soon. I'll keep you guys in the loop. Later Fried Green Tomaters, Lisa Marie aka TNA Tara : )

![]() Former WWE Diva Torrie Wilson has posted a new online blog. In the latest blog, Torrie discusses her time on "I'm a Celebrity" among other things: - Well I am finally back home from the Costa Rican jungle where I was filming the show "I'm a celebrity, get me outta here!" 30 days of living in the jungle and eating mostly rice and beans sure made me appreciate my home sweet home! I had a great time and made tons of good friends..and was really happy that I got to show people who I really am! I definitely underestimated how hard it was really going to be, by day 3 I found myself looking around camp going "wow, this is gonna be much harder than I thought!" I used my inner strength to get me through and realized I am much more fierce than I ever thought. Quitting was NEVER an option. I want to live by the 2 little words "NO REGRETS" everyday of my life. I hope that I can be a positive influence in many people's lives by demonstrating that you can do anything if you put your heart and soul into it and don't give up! I had a few day's when I was miserable and homesick but without those bad days I would not have walked away from this experience a changed person and appreciated it so much. Nothing is ever easy in life and how boring would it be if it always was? I came in 2nd place behind Lou Diamond Philips and it was ridiculously close. Only less than 1/10th of 1% of the votes separated us and I later heard they had to do a recount because I was in the lead the previous day. Lou definitely deserves the crown, he's a great guy and a hard worker...I am elated to have made it to the very last day and owe all of you that voted a big huge THANKYOU!!!! I have the best fans and friends in the world!! I am very excited about the opportunites coming my way and will of course keep you all posted......working on the first in a series of workout videos already and am so excited because this is something I have ALWAYS wanted to do! I love working out and have so many great tips and tricks to share! Thankyou God for my friends new and old..and for giving me such a beautiful life changing experience. mucho kisses! Tor

| Diva Spotlight: The Bella Twins | ||
| Posted by: Christi Lott | 07/02/2009 | JOIN THE FORUMS |
![]() Why they're Good: Twins can be a solid gimmick. The Bella Twins had a good debut in one sneaking under the ring when in trouble and the fresher sister picking up the win. The two are actually solid wrestlers, with a solid moveset of some lucha inspired moves and have managed to be better than a few of their fellow Divas who've been around longer. Why they're BAD: The gimmick didn't get them over. Thanks to the internet, their secret was out VERY quickly and fans were counting down as to when the secret would FINALY be let out. So it was, and what happened then? Nothing. Bland does not begin to describe The Bellas. Other than being twins, there's nothing exciting about them. Sure, they're good wrestlers, but the two of them do the exact same moves one after the other. Watching the same move done by two people in succession gets old very fast, and The Bellas have done nothing to make themselves stand out, either as individuals or as twins. Plus, what is there for twin Divas? The women's division does not have a tag team title, and I can't remember a time when they've had a solo match without using one another to win. What they bring to the WWE: The Bellas bring a gimmick that hasn't happened before. As critical as I am on them, I will say that at least they aren't painful to watch. As a set they an be interesting, but hopefully in the near future the two can become individuals in the meantime.
| WWE officially signs Serena Deeb | ||

![]() Dave Prazak announced this just a few minutes ago: Everyone at SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES would like to congratulate Serena Deeb on officially signing a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. From the first day she stepped into a wrestling ring, it has always been Serena's goal to earn a job with WWE. Serena moved from Virginia to Kentucky on her own dime for the sole purpose of enrolling in the Ohio Valley Wrestling training program several years ago, and she has been a mainstay in the OVW women's division ever since. Serena debuted for SHIMMER on May 21, 2006 as a last minute substitution when an opening on the lineup created an opportunity. During the three years that followed, Serena displayed tremendous drive, determination, and eagerness to constantly learn. She has always tried to improve her game, be it in SHIMMER competition, at OVW, or in her handful of appearances for Ring of Honor. Despite OVW losing its status a WWE developmental territory last year, Serena remained focused on achieving her goal of impressing WWE officials enough to be given a chance. All of Serena's hard work has now paid off, as she will soon be relocating to Florida to start with WWE developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling. Personally speaking, I feel that Serena Deeb is one of the top three female babyface talents in North America today. She's got unbelievable fire, and can project emotion better than most wrestlers of a similar age and experience level. These are essential attributes to go along with the sound athletic wrestling fundamentals which she also possesses. She's a complete package, and is perfect for television. Serena's training at OVW not only prepared her quite well for professional wrestling in general, but also specifically for the style of wrestling which WWE is looking for. Serena's continued instruction at FCW will only sharpen her existing skills, in preparation for the next stage of her career. The three match series between Serena and Sara Del Rey were truly breakout performances for her as a wrestler. I feel those matches excellently displayed Serena's unbelievable potential to become a star in this industry. In her outings several weeks ago at the SHIMMER Vols. 23-26 tapings in Chicago, Serena continued to show that she absolutely deserved the spot at the top of the card that she had worked her way into. I'd like to thank Serena Deeb for all of her contributions to SHIMMER during the past three years. From all of the memorable matches, to sacrificing her car on the drive up for the SHIMMER Title Tournament weekend, Serena gave so much to our product. Though we'll greatly miss her at future tapings, Serena has now been given the chance of a lifetime-- to work her way to the top of her chosen profession. Good luck, Serena... and congrats! Dave Prazak *Serena joins Angela Fong, Beverly Mullins, Gloria Marie (Miss April), Jenny Cash, Penelope Carwin (Jemma Palmer), Rachael Lynn (Rachael Carr) as the New Divas from development.
| Quote of the Day: Daffney's Got It... | ||

![]() Former TNA Heavyweight Champion Mick Foley has taken to the world wide web to blog about none other than Daffney. Here's what he had to say about the crazy Knockout: - Daffney's got it going on. That's what I think whenever I see her on TV, doing promos, in the ring, etc. Which is my way of saying that she's really hit her stride; everything seems to be coming together simultaneously. I've always thought that anything that's different is good, and man is this chick different. I try to give feedback when I see something I like, and it seems that I'm always saying something to her about what I see. "I love the outfit, Daffney, it's creepy, it's you." Or, "great promo, I like how calm you are." She slithers like a snake, she's got a cool walk, all her stuff in the ring looks good, and like all good characters, she makes you wonder where the character ends/where the person begins. I've been around her for a while now, and I don't really have a clue. Plus, she's read one of my novels like 4 times, and that's a little scary.

| Canada Day: Trish Stratus | ||

![]() Join us now as we conclude Canada Day celebrations with their #1 export - the gorgeous Trish Stratus. The Toronto native burst onto our screens back in March 2000 and was soon thrown in a sexually fueled rivalry with Bubba Ray Dudley. The Canadian beauty would eventually embark on a feud with Lita - spanning several years. Trish also enjoyed a storyline affair with Vince McMahon, which led to a heated war with Stephanie McMahon (the pair wrestled one another at No Way Out 2001). As she spent more time in the ring, her wrestling skills and popularity strengthened. Because of this, she was a one-time WWE Hardcore Champion, three-time "WWE Babe of the Year" and was proclaimed "Diva of the Decade". Oh, and she's also a seven-time WWE Women's Champion. Not bad for a Toronto Fitness Model, right? After nearly seven years in the business, Trish retired from wrestling on September 17, 2006 after winning her seventh (and final) WWE Women's Championship. And in keeping with our Canadian-themed day of content... Trish actually retired in... wait for it... Toronto!!!

![]() We're sticking with our Canada Day celebrations as we highlight another one of Toronto's hottest exports... Angelina Love. The TNA Knockout Champion and self-proclaimed "Beautiful Person" has made huge waves since debuting within TNA back in October 2007. Angelina made her professional wrestling debut back in 2000 (RHD's debut year), working for several independent promotions around Canada. She was first a valet for various wrestlers such as Chris Sabin and Eric Young and then began to train under Rob Fuego. Needless to say she became a professional wrestler and went onto compete for several promotions before signing a development deal with World Wrestling Entertainment. Under her WWE Deal Angelina competed in their Deep South Wrestling development territory before briefly working down in Ohio Valley Wrestling. Sadly she was released from her WWE deal (why would they do such a thing?) but all hope wasn't lost as TNA quickly snapped her up. Angelina currently wrestles for TNA and teams with the seductive Velvet Sky. Be sure to tune into TNA iMPACT tomorrow night as The Beautiful People will be going to war against the unique team of Awesome Kong and Tara. RHD caught the match LIVE last week in Orlando; the match was strange but fun. Continue reading for the spoilers AND photos!!!

![]() Rajah.com reports... WWE Diva Kelly Kelly is featured in Australia's The Daily Telegraph promoting the Raw brand's upcoming "Down Under Tour." She has apparently been the talk of Australia. WWE will stop in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Victoria Park, with the tour beginning this Friday in Auckland, New Zealand. Here's what the Telegraph had to say about her forthcoming arrival Down Under: - US wrestler Kelly Kelly may not boast a hairy back, squashed nose or grotesque facial scars, but her arrival for the RAW Down Under Tour this Saturday is creating a buzz not seen among fans since Monsoon and Killer Kowalski visited our shores. There is talk of Kelly Kelly catching up with Eels prop Fuifui Moimoi. At Woy Woy. Sorry.
| Canada Day: Gail Kim | ||

![]() One of Toronto's finest athletes is arguably RAW's Gail Kim. Gail's been wrestling for several years and scored her big break on June 30, 2003 when she successfully captured the WWE Women's Championship during her actual television debut. To date Gail remains the first, and only, female wrestler to win the WWE Womens title in her debut match. She's also the first female wrestler to win the TNA Knockouts Championship. Do you remember the cold winters day of November 2, 2004? It's the day fans were sickened by the release of Gail Kim from her contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. At a time when Diva Search Models were being hired left, right, and center fans were outraged by the departures of the wrestling athletes. On September 6, 2005, TNA Wrestling made the almighty announcement that they had acquired the services of Gail Kim and that she would debut on the October 8 edition of iMPACT. Gail did indeed make her debut for the company - aligning herself with Jeff Jarrett and America's Most Wanted by attacking Team 3D. Gail would then go onto enjoy a mini rivalry with Jackie Gayda alongside select matches with the likes of Traci Brooks and Jackie Moore. Fall 2007 was Gail's crowning moment as a TNA performer when she competed and successfully won the TNA Knockouts Championship. Gail would then enjoy a bitter rivalry with Awesome Kong over the championship. Lately Gail's been mixing things up with former the SmackDown! Divas but will soon return to her old stomping ground over on Monday Night Raw. Are you ready for Gail's return to the WWE's flagship show? Her homecoming will take place this coming Monday night!!!

![]() On behalf of the RHD Team I'd like to wish all of our Canadian readers a very happy Canada Day. We're going all-Canadian for the remainder of the day so stick with us. We're kicking things off in style by looking at the original Knockout - Traci Brooks!!! Ms. Brooks originates from St. Marys, Ontario and she's best known for her work with TNA Wrestling. Traci made her official TNA Debut all the way back on April 30, 2003 when she assaulted Lollipop (a useless dancer). If you're good at math then you'll know that Traci has actually been with TNA for nearly half a decade, which is very impressive. Brooks made a lasting impression on fans when she forced entry into a TNA Gauntlet (winner faced the World Heavyweight Champion), she secured a spot via threatening TNA Management with a sexual discrimination lawsuit. Later in the year she managed legendary Shane Douglas but by the end of 2004 she was off to pastures new. Over the new few year she'd enjoy wars with the likes of Trinity before reinventing herself in the fall of 2006. Traci was announced as Robert Roode's chosen manager at the Bound for Glory 2006 PPV, and she'd later change her name to Ms. Brooks. The partnership worked well in the early days but things soon turned soar as Robert berated her in public among other hideous acts. Traci would eventually leave him high and dry whilst seeking vengeance on serial stalker Ms. Peyton Banks. What will the future hold for Traci as we enter the second half of 2009? Her status within TNA continues to remain questionable to say the least...

We'd like to invite all of our loyal visitors to help us celebrate our 9th Birthday - Happy Birthday RHD!!!The concept of RedHotDivas.com was devised all the way back in February 2000 due to a lack of websites devoted to covering the hardest working women on television. After some careful thinking we decided to launch a tribute website in the summer of 2000. By April of 2000 the Women of Wrestling scene was pretty popular and newer stars such as Trish Stratus & Lita were starting to make an impact whilst the likes of Chyna, The Kat & Terri were dominating television. Over in WCW their female roster was taking a hit whilst ECW was pushing the boundaries with the likes of Francine, Dawn Marie & Jasmin St. Claire. On Saturday, July 1, 2000 we officially opened up RedHotDivas.com and the rest is history. I'd like to thank all our loyal viewers for visiting the website on a daily basis, all of our tagboard members, all of our regular email contributors, our news team (past and present), and everyone else that's supported us over the years. I'd also like to take this opportunity to quickly thank World Wrestling Entertainment & TNA Wrestling as without them this website would not be here today. The companies are often being given bad press right, and lets face it.. they don't deserve half of what the media say about them. Support Wrestling!!!

![]() The PWTorch.com Newsletter reports... The word going around the WWE locker room is that Vickie Guerrero was only being paid $500 per appearance, and on top of that she had to cover her own hotel expenses. There are some wrestlers who are understandably fired up over the rumor, feeling that the company could have done more to take care of the now-former RAW and SmackDown general manager. Although, it is worth noting that WWE paid for Eddie Guerrero’s funeral, and friends suspect they did more to help out the family. So while the $500 per appearance rate looks horrible on the surface, the company may have quietly done more for Vickie and her children than the locker room is aware of.
